Hot!
When in Tokyo, I like to go for a "sampo" or walk around town. Like NYC, Tokyo is a great walking town. It's also a great way to get exercise as it can be hilly, with lots of steps for a good cardio workout. So when on a business trip to Tokyo recently, I spent a late morning taking a walk to Ometesando from my hotel in Akasaka. It's quite an easy walk and can be done in about 2.5 hours. Here are some photos from the walk.
One of the "must see and experience" shops in Ometesando is Kiddyland. It moved from it's original location to a more spacious place but still is a toy store on steriods

At Ometesando Hills, they were showcasing an up an coming artist that made this cute stuffed animals made from felted wool yarn that she dyed and spun by herself.
Also, every weekend and I mean every weekend at Omotesando, one can find a line. This line was for people waiting to get into a restaurant. The restaurant is called Eggs 'N Things which is a famous breakfast place in Honolulu. I guess they opened up a branch in Tokyo which is super popular!
I also saw at Omotesando Hills (a very famous shopping mall), a fancy wedding. Fancy as they had incredible music but again the ceremony was conducted by a fake priest. IE, the priest was an English actor in Japan. So weird as the vows were said in English and to God. I am not a religious person, but this practice really bothers me.
The wedding party "after the fake Christian ceremony". I wonder how much money they spent?
On the way back, I walked through Tokyo Midtown, another chi-chi shopping and dining complex which is in Roppongi. True to Japanese enthusiam to find any excuse to celebrate, Tokyo Midtown had Halloween decorations EVERYWHERE!
