Well, that was scary. Went to bed early 10 pm last nite cuz had to get up at 4am for a 430am conf call yesterday. Woke up just before 4am this morning again to Yuki-chan barking and commotion. The house in front of me was billowing smoke. It seems a fire broke out in the walls next door. Firemen came over to quickly extinguish the smoke. I complained about the rain yesterday (we've been having a damp April and May) but thank god for it as it could have been worse if we had the usual dry weather. No one was hurt thankfully. But another sleepless nite.
