Hot and Very Humid
Hello Again Tokyo! Today is the start of another 2 year gig in Tokyo. So excited but exhausted from the move. I'll be in a hotel for 2 weeks until I can move into my new apartment. Good news is that I am now a Royal Ambassador Member for Intercontental Hotels so should be upgraded and can enjoy the Ambassador Club Lounge.
Well,, turns out now at ANA Intercontinental! I did get a junior suite though which I need as I have 7 suitcases, 1 duffle bad and a box that needs to be stored. But not allowed to use the Club lounge as my "corporate rate" is very inexpensive. However, every drink in the mini-bar is free! Go figure.
So I arrived at 4am and got to the hotel around 830am (took awhile to get thru customs). Showered, got myself a venti latte (jetlag is bad this time) and waiting for an agent to pick me up to get my alien card registered, get a mobile phone, bank account etc. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the office in the afternoon to see the team.
