Hot afte 3 gorgeous days

 

So finally moved into my apartment on September 15.  Rented furniture this time so at least had a bed, basic living room furniture etc.  Went to Takashimaya to by bedding and was shocked how much bedding for queen size beds cost.  And to think, that I actually considered a King Size Bed!!  Anyhow, survived the first week with just a bowl and a cup.  Air shipment arrived in pieces the following week and did some power unpacking as I had guests arriving the first weekend I moved in.  Yes, crazy and stressful for me, but they had no where else to stay.  Anyhow, surviving and it was nice to see them again and luv them, but don't think I'll ever do that again as it was too much – 1st week in apartment and last week of quarter for work on a new job. Nope, won't be doing that again.

Looking forward to enjoying my apartment, relaxing and slowly adding some color and spice to the place from shopping excursions to Kappabashi, Kyoto and this time explore flea markets.

Rental Furniture Arrival:  May's did a wonderful job.  Takayama-san was my decorator and I recommend her

Guest Bedroom:  Had to run to Muji to buy bedding for guests

My Room, a bit bland so need to think about adding color. Maybe a bright blue rug

This is also for the bathroom.  Not sure what all the buttons are for but my agent made an English version

Instructions for the ToTo toilet in English.  Every toilet room has an emergency button.  My guest pressed that instead of "flush" and oy, took awhile to figure out how to turn off the emergency sound.
