Grey Skies and cool, perfect day for the Tokyo Marathon
Tokyo, Japan
Folks in Sochi are busy figuring out how to conduct the Winter Olympics in balmy weather. Meanwhile in Tokyo… Snow….. For 2 weekends in a row!
Tokyo is a city that stops when it snows. We only had about 6 inches max each weekend but it basically shut down the city. I loved it as it felt like I had the whole city to my self while walking the town.

I was not the only one who enjoyed the snow. The pups LOVED it.

I even went shopping at Nihonbashi Takashimaya – my favorite department store. I had the WHOLE department store to my self!
But before going to Takashimaya, I stopped at the neighboring Mitsukoshi and had lunch at Laduree. I had a delicious Vol au Vent with chicken and morels.
Their famous macarons
But started with the best cauliflower soup I've ever had!
I hear it might snow again, I can't wait! Final pic: New Otani Hotel Gardens
